MAT PILATES  with Tansy pulls from both classic Pilates, and contemporary Pilates techniques rooted in the teaching principles of Core Fusion, Physique 57 and more, often using the Pilates Circle or Pilates Bands for resistance.  Pilates is a series of exercises that flow together to work out all body parts either together or in isolation, all geared to strengthen the core or “powerhouse” of the body -- which basically means the torso -- while also working on arms, legs and glutes.


YOGA  is the perfect balance between exercise and awareness, strength and stress relief.  The yoga style taught by Tansy is a hybrid of Hatha (postures), Vinyasa (flow) and Iyengar (proper alignment in a pose), with positive affirmations and intentions to open your heart and let inner happiness and peace take over.  You will get a great physical workout, increase flexibility and feel mentally rejuvenated to approach the day.  Namaste!
